About KLM
How It All Started
It began with a direct word from the Lord in 2012. Back then it was called ‘House of the Lord’ and the ministry was birthed in the home Darren shared with his wife Vernette. In 2020, again as the Lord directed, the ministry restructured and relaunched with an expanded scope and vision which is now Kingdom Life Movement (KLM).
Vision
KLM is a Kingdom Advancement Centre seeking to help equip the Church in these times. We desire to see the Church come back to God’s original intention and break free from man-made structures that will not effectively carry God’s glory in the times to come. The KLM vision gives a broad overview of how we seek to do this.
Mission
Our mission can be summed up as:
Reformation
To help bring the church back to God’s original intention, pattern and design.
Raise
To raise up communities of mature disciples, who make other disciples
Send
To train, equip and release believers into their God-given callings
Leadership
To help restore a more bible centred model of leadership to the Church by:
- Raising up five-fold ministry leaders
- Training, equipping and releasing five-fold leaders to fulfil their call
- Working with ministries to help them reform and restructure their church leadership models
The Body
To help the Body of Christ come to a place of maturity in character, clarity in purpose and demonstration of the Kingdom through:
- Teaching and preaching via online platforms
- In person training and equipping events
- Creating training resources that can used independently by various ministries and individuals
Church Planting
We will plant Kingdom Life Churches (KLC). These will be local church families looking to live out the Gospel in community. Through the planting of KLC communities, we want to raise up beleivers that:
- Love God
- Know God
- Live for God
- Show God
